Welcome To Living Faith Lutheran Church!
Sharing the joy of a Living Faith in Jesus Christ with the people of Pembroke Pines, Broward County, and the World.
At Living Faith, you are seen, you are loved, and you are celebrated—just as you are.
We are a Christ-centered community of healing, justice, and radical inclusion, with a heart for the neurodiverse and a mission to love like Jesus. Here, faith isn’t passive—it’s living. It moves. It shows up in works of compassion, in advocacy for justice, in care for the vulnerable, and in creating space where everyone—of every ability, background, identity, and story—belongs.
Jesus, our Shepherd and Lord, leads us in love: seeking the lost, lifting the broken, feeding the hungry, and restoring the weary. We follow His example in Pembroke Pines and beyond by embracing His mission of equity, accessibility, and grace.
We don’t come together because we have it all figured out. We gather because we’re all in need of grace—and we believe grace is big enough for all of us.
Whether you’re neurodivergent, LGBTQIA+, disabled, a questioning seeker, or someone who’s been hurt by church before: you are welcome here. Not just tolerated. Not just accepted. Celebrated.
Come as you are. Encounter a Living Faith.

💫 The Story of Esther: A Time for Courage
A long time ago, in a big kingdom called Persia, there was a brave young woman named Esther. She was kind, smart, and beautiful—but also had to keep a big secret: she was Jewish. In those days, that could be dangerous.
Esther was chosen to be queen, even though she didn’t ask for it. She lived in the palace and did her best to do what was right, even when it was confusing or scary.
One day, her cousin Mordechai, who had raised her like a daughter, came to her with terrible news. A powerful man named Haman wanted to hurt all the Jewish people—including Esther’s family and friends.
Esther was scared. She knew going to the king without being invited could get her in big trouble—or worse. She didn’t feel ready. She didn’t feel strong enough.
But Mordechai looked at her and said something powerful:
“Maybe you were born for such a time as this.”
That moment changed everything for Esther.
She took a deep breath. She prayed. And then… she found her courage.
She went to the king—even though she was scared. She spoke up for her people—even though her voice was shaking. And because of her bravery and trust, the king listened. Esther helped save her people.
🌟 What We Can Learn:
It's okay to be afraid—courage means doing the right thing even when you're scared.
You are stronger than you think.
You don’t have to do hard things alone—asking for help is also brave.
Sometimes, just like Esther, you are exactly who you need to be to make a difference.
So if you ever feel nervous or unsure, remember Esther. And maybe—just maybe—you were born for such a time as this!
New Here?
Whether this is your first time walking into a church or your first time in a while, we’re so glad you found us.
At Living Faith, we understand that trying a new place—especially a church—can be overwhelming. That’s why we’ve designed every part of our experience with thoughtfulness, care, and neurodiverse inclusion at the heart.
🧠 A Church that Gets Neurodiversity
We’re passionate about creating a space where neurodiverse individuals and families feel safe, seen, and supported. From sensory-friendly environments to flexible seating and quiet spaces, we work to reduce anxiety and increase access—for everyone.
🎥 Take a Peek Before You Visit
We know that knowing what to expect can make all the difference. That’s why we created a [video walkthrough] to guide you through what a Sunday at Living Faith looks like— what the space feels like, what sounds you might hear, and what to expect.
👪 What About Kids?
Our spaces are designed with inclusivity in mind. We offer:
A No-Shush environment
Visual schedules, quiet corners & different types of seating
Sensory tools and fidgets
Volunteers who understand neurodivergence and respond with compassion
The option to stay together as a family
And if something doesn’t work for you, your child or your family—we want to work with you. We see you as the expert on you or your loved one’s needs, and we’re here to listen.
